We all know how brilliant these carvers are for trimming rugs but given their size it's hard to get a uniform surface with them.

It's really easy to gouge your rug or shear too deep.

This adapter acts as a guide to keep your shaving uniform.

This adapter is designed to fit both the heavy-duty rug carver and Rosewood Carver we carry.

The adapter is an acrylic base with a 3D-printed holder. This is not as good as our handmade adapters that have a circle cut out of the acrylic plate. The extra bit of plate in the front really helps to keep your rug even. However we know our handmade ones take a bit more time to remove the carver from the adapter which is why we've brought these in!

We suggest one pass with the shears and adapters and if you want to cut it down more a second pass, third etc
